The Jaltest Link V9 Upgrade Program (part number 29109, 95) is Cojali USA's official transition package for shops retiring an older Jaltest Link in favor of the current V9 generation interface. If you are running a Jaltest Link V7 or V8 and your device is aging out — or if you want the faster communication speed and lighter design of the V9 before your old unit becomes unrepairable — this is the structured upgrade path. Starting January 1, 2025, Cojali USA no longer repairs devices older than V9, so continuing to rely on an older link carries increasing operational risk.

What the V9 Upgrade Includes

This is not just a hardware swap. The V9 Upgrade Program replaces your aging Link with the current interface and includes the updated cables that work with it:

• Jaltest Link V9 interface (part 70001015) — the current-generation Jaltest diagnostic hardware interface; faster protocol handling, lighter weight (76% reduction in weight vs. older links), Bluetooth connectivity

What This Is Not

If your license has lapsed, you will need to address renewal separately. Also note: some cables from older Jaltest Link versions are not compatible with the V9 without the JDC100 extension adapter — check with us on your specific cable inventory before ordering if you have an extensive cable library.
