Ordering & Shipping

How do I place an order?

You can order directly through our website by adding items to your cart and checking out with a credit card, PayPal, or Shop Pay. If you prefer to order by phone, call us at 800-217-0063 Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Our team can walk you through product selection, answer technical questions, and process your order over the phone.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Every order shipped within the continental United States qualifies for free standard ground shipping — no minimum purchase required. We ship via UPS and FedEx depending on the size and weight of your order. Expedited shipping options are also available at checkout for an additional charge. For Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders, please contact us for a shipping quote.

How long does shipping take?

We process orders within 1 to 2 business days. Standard ground shipping typically arrives within 3 to 7 business days depending on your location. Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST on business days usually ship the same day. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor delivery status in real time.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely. As soon as your order ships, we send a confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking page. If you have not received a shipping confirmation within two business days of placing your order, check your spam folder first, then contact us at support@dieseltruckdiagnostictools.com and we will get you sorted out.

Do you ship internationally?

We do ship internationally on a case-by-case basis. International shipping rates, customs duties, and delivery timelines vary by country. Do I need a laptop to use Jaltest?

Jaltest software runs on a Windows-based PC or laptop. We recommend a laptop with Windows 10 or 11, at least 8 GB of RAM, and a solid-state drive for best performance. We offer complete kits that include a pre-configured Panasonic Toughbook rugged laptop — ideal for shop and field use. If you already own a compatible laptop, we can provide the Jaltest diagnostic interface and software separately. Call us and we will help you determine the best setup for your needs.

How often is Jaltest software updated?

Cojali releases major Jaltest software updates quarterly, with incremental updates and coverage additions throughout the year. Each update adds new vehicle models, expanded system coverage, updated wiring diagrams, and new guided diagnostic routines. Your annual software subscription keeps you current with the latest updates. We notify customers when major updates are available and our support team is here to help with installation if needed.

Can Jaltest perform DPF regens and aftertreatment functions?

Yes. Jaltest provides full aftertreatment system support including forced DPF regenerations, SCR system diagnostics, DEF quality testing, NOx sensor resets, and soot level monitoring across most supported platforms. You can initiate parked regens, monitor regen progress in real time, and diagnose aftertreatment fault codes — all from the Jaltest interface. This is one of the most-used features for fleets and independent shops dealing with emissions system issues daily.

What kind of support do you provide?

We provide live trained-staff support — not a call center, not a chatbot. When you call 800-217-0063, you talk to experienced diesel technicians who use Jaltest every day. We help with software installation, hardware setup, diagnostic questions, troubleshooting specific vehicle issues, and anything else that comes up. We have been an authorized Jaltest dealer since 2016, and supporting our customers is what we do best.

What are your support hours?

For urgent after-hours issues, send us an email and we will prioritize your request first thing the next business day.

Does Jaltest come with a warranty?

Yes. All Jaltest diagnostic hardware comes with a manufacturer warranty from Cojali. The standard warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by product — interface adapters, cables, and Toughbook kits each have their own coverage period. We stand behind everything we sell. If you experience a hardware issue, contact us and we will handle the warranty process directly so you are not dealing with overseas support on your own.

Can you help me diagnose a specific vehicle problem?

That is exactly what our trained-staff support is for. If you are working on a truck and need help interpreting fault codes, running a forced regen, performing a calibration, or navigating the Jaltest software to find the right test, call us. Do you offer training on Jaltest?

We offer one-on-one remote training sessions to help you get the most out of your Jaltest system. Whether you are brand new to the platform or want to learn advanced features like guided diagnostics and wiring diagram navigation, our team can walk you through it. Training is included with your purchase — just call us to schedule a session at a time that works for you. We also provide quick-start guides and tips to help you hit the ground running.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on hardware and accessories in original, unused condition with all original packaging. To initiate a return, contact us at 800-217-0063 or email support@dieseltruckdiagnostictools.com to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number cannot be accepted. Please see our Refund Policy page for complete details.

Are software licenses refundable?

Software licenses and annual subscriptions are non-refundable once activated. Because software licenses are registered to your specific hardware and cannot be transferred or reused, we cannot accept returns on activated software. If you have questions about software licensing or want to make sure you are purchasing the right license for your needs, call us before you buy and we will help you make the right decision.

How long do refunds take to process?

Once we receive your returned item and verify it meets our return conditions, we process your refund within 7 to 10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to post the refund to your account.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer financing options for qualified buyers on Jaltest diagnostic kits and packages. Financing allows you to spread the cost of your investment over manageable monthly payments, making it easier to equip your shop or fleet without a large upfront expense. What do I need to apply for financing?
