Jaltest Recovery Fee (SKU 29226) — $500
The Jaltest Recovery Fee (part #29226) is required when you need to reinstall Jaltest software onto a new or different computer and your license has expired, or when you need to transfer the software to a different device even if the license expired within the last 45 days. This is an administrative service fee processed through Cojali USA Customer Support — it is not a software subscription or a renewal of your Jaltest license.
Understanding when you need this fee and when you do not can save you $500. Read the conditions below carefully before purchasing.
When the Recovery Fee Is Required
- License expired more than 45 days ago and you need to reinstall Jaltest on any device — the $500 Recovery Fee (part #29226) is required, processed through Cojali Customer Support at customersupport@jaltest.com
- License expired within 45 days but you want to move to a different laptop — even within the 45-day window, changing devices requires the Recovery Fee
When the Recovery Fee Is NOT Required (No Charge)
- License expired less than 45 days ago and you are reinstalling on the same device — this recovery is at no charge
What Recovery Gives You
- Reinstallation of the last software version the customer downloaded and installed while their license was active — not the current software version if a newer version was released after expiration
- Ability to install onto a new or replacement device
- Processed through Cojali USA Customer Support team
Important Conditions
- Your Jaltest software version must be at least version 22.1 or newer to be eligible for recovery
- Recovery restores access to the last downloaded/installed version — it does not provide the latest updates unless you also renew your license
- Jaltest hardware (V9 Link) must still be present and functional — the software cannot run without the physical interface
- After recovery, renewing your annual license (CV, OHW, or AGV) is the path to getting back on current software with full update access

- Cojali Support will process the recovery and provide reinstallation instructions
Who Needs This
Shops that experienced a computer failure, upgraded to a new laptop, or let their Jaltest license lapse and now need to get the software reinstalled. Also relevant when taking over a shop that has existing Jaltest hardware and wants to reactivate the software on a different machine. If your license is still active and you are reinstalling on the same device, contact Cojali first — you may not need this fee.
